PM Modi Inaugurates Development Projects In Rae Bareli, Preparations For Kumbh Mela In Full Swing

LUCKNOW: PM Modi inaugurated a Command and Control Centre for the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, where he went after addressing a public gathering in Raebareli.

PM Modi also performed Ganga Pujan at Sangam ghat in the holy city.The mega religious gathering will start in January and will end in March.

PM Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone of some projects and inaugurated few others worth Rs 1,100 crore during his first visit to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s Lok Sabha constituency, Rae Bareli.

PM Modi also flagged off the 900th coach and Humsafar rake made by the Modern Coach Factory here. PM Modi attacked Congress party on farmers issue and asked why Swaminathan report on MSP was not implemented earlier.

During his address in Rae Bareli, PM Modi also paid homage to all those who sacrificed their lives during the 1971 war against Pakistan.

Vijay Diwas (Victory Day) is celebrated every year on December 16 in India to mark the anniversary of victory of Indian forces over Pakistan in Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had visited Rae Bareli to oversee preparations for the visit.

PM Modi was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Modern Coach Factory in Raebareli.

The visit comes days after the BJP lost the three heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the Congress and its allies.Centre committed to development of Rae Bareli; earlier govts neglected it, says PM in first rally.
