Sparrow

By: C P Singh
A small bird, flying, hopping, tweeting,
Singing and enjoying with children.
In our houses’, lawns, corridors’ fencing
From morning to evening’ s reign.
So small, so lovely, so wanted they are,
Reach us so friendly and dont go so far.
Are part and parcel of our home’ s dar,
Never sad or conflicting with us in war.
I enjoyed my childhood with them well,
They ever played with my being, here.
I said nothing to them, nor they tell,
Running behind them in house, here and there..
Less seen are They now a days, why ?
I miss their well being’s with us ever.
They went hiding or else in their shy ?
I need you, my dear Sparrow, young, new and newer.
