Low Time, General Time, and Extremely Important Time

LUCKNOW: For convenience, we can address less important times by saying “off time” and extremely important time by saying “peak time” but there is another situation of time between these two edges which is a mixture of both of these, and you can call it “normal time” or “general time.” As I have said before, “time” is a very reliable measure of life, age, and success etc. The journey of life, age and our success, all are similar to a big wave which gradually rises, for some time it stays on its climax, and then gradually slipping and one day it ends. This attitude of time teaches us that we can divide every journey, whether it is a journey of life, or of age or success, mainly in three parts – less important time (normal time), mixed important time (general time) and extremely important time (peak time).

Regardless of these words in the first sight, we feel that the importance of time keeps decreasing or increasing, but for a successful life it has three fixed stairs, and all the steps in one ladder are necessary to climb up. This is the same as a ‘hundred’ of a cricket player, but there are a hundred units in each century, and if one unit is separated from the hundred, then it cannot become a century. In a very lovely book, I read information about the ‘Oak’ tree found in London. When this sky touching tree is planted in the soil, it does not looks alive on the earth in the first year despite all of its care, watering, and airing, etc.

However, there is no sprout in the second year too, despite its serving like a newborn and taking its complete care. Then it is done for the third year as well but there is no sign of its life on the earth, but as soon as the third year is complete, the trees come out of the earth and begin to touch the height of the sky. Does the existence of this tree have any contribution to the service of the first two years or not? Certainly, the contribution of all three years is in the existence of that tree, because every day of these three years services made a preparation of great existence of this tree and without the service of these three years, no existence of the tree was ever possible.

Let’s try to understand these three steps of the time in brief:

Off Time (Less important time):

Although every moment of time is important on the basis of importance, engagement and profit potential in our lives, we first talk about ‘less important time,’ i.e., ‘off time.’ Off-time is when people are often the least busy and competition is equal to ‘no’. If you talk about the first eight hours of a day that are starting after midnight, then these hours are the least important regarding engagement and profit potential. If you get out on the streets in this period, you will find them almost traffic less often, and you will find restaurants, offices and business establishments and shops closed.

Often this happens in life too. You will also see in schools that in the first month of new classes, there is an atmosphere of getting acquainted with each other only. If you have started a new business, then its initial time is to understand the challenges and prospects of that new business only.

If you want to see with my eyes, you will find that this is the best time to make preparations for the future, namely ‘Home Work’ because you do not have any pressure of getting success immediately, or the fear of losing it. In the peak time, when the whole world will be battling with each other, your Homework already done will be able to achieve the success sooner than your competitors. In my student life, I often used to study my subjects in the night and the next day; I was one step ahead of my classmates. You may have understood my point of view – if you take advantage of this time which is considered of less importance by the others, you will achieve such a long lead-in advance from your opponents in the period of ‘very important time’ which may make you invincible for them.

General Time (Mixed Important Time):

If we look at the normal time as eight hours in twenty-four hours of one day, then we will call them two hours between eight o’clock to ten o’clock in the morning, four hours between two o’clock to six o’clock in the middle and ten o’clock to twelve o’clock in the night, i.e., total eight hours. This is the time when the people or busy in streets, in restaurants, in offices, in business establishments or in stores more than “less important time” and less than “Very important time.”

We can also get great benefits from this period. At this time in my mind, there is a funny story read in a book that I want to share with you. The Khandekar couple, the resident of Mumbai, the busiest city of our country, went on a foreign trip after getting retirements from their government services, where they had to make their clock two hours ahead due to the change in ‘time zone.’ When they came back home after the fun-filled holiday, due to “retired life,” they did not need to work clockwise, and they forgot to adjust their clocks back by those two hours as per the ‘time zone’ applicable in India. And then the miracles started to happen. They never got disturbed due to the crowd for local trains or bus or taxi, and their tasks were completed before the time. They did not have to wait long after giving orders in the restaurants, and then they decided that even though their watches were showing wrong time according to the wrong time zone, they would not change the time zone they had fed.

This story also tells us that when we go ahead of time, how easy is the path and no obstacle comes because we leave the crowd far behind. Friends, this is a rule of success too, because the win over the time is the success.

Peak Time (Extremely important time):

This is the busiest and crowded time of day. In this section, everyone looks forward to the best performance from you. In the market, this time is the time of cut-throat competition for the gluttony, and it is time to compete in the deadly race on the streets. The reality is that it is not the time to learn but to give results. If you have not learned to swim already, then you have decided to sink. Here, one can jump as long as he has run already. If you have prepared to run fast in ‘less important time’ and ‘normal time,’ then be sure that your whole day is for you only.

Whatever marks you can secure by reading during your examinations only, you may have much more than those by making your preparation before the examination. Success is also an exam for you. Now it is up to you that you would like to pass this exam in the best category or would like to pass by general marks or would like to fail in it. All the options are open for you because even today the day has passed, but tomorrow’s day is about to come. You may have failed in your previous examination, but the upcoming exam has sent you an invitation to succeed with the best marks and special qualifications.
