LUCKNOW: The Hazratganj station of Lucknow Metro witnessed the first ever book fair within its premises. Kumar Kehav, MD-LMRC and renowned poet Sanjay Mishra ‘Shauq’ inaugurated this event.
In his inaugural talk, Kumar Keshav said that the development of the intellect and humanitarian approach is the need of the hour and the books are the best help for the same. Reading must be a routine affair in one’s life. He also told that LMRC is open to various innovative steps to serve the society.
Sanjay Mishra ‘Shauq’ said that Lucknow is the land of culture and tradition. Such kind of events are need of the hour to showcase it.
The convener of the program Chandra Shekhar Varma, who is also a renowned trainer and literary person, did held a talk show during the inaugural program. There was huge turnover of the people to witness this pioneering event, including the persons from Lucknow Sahityik Manch.
The event is being held till 7th of July 2019 wherein the book fair is being held by Pratishthaa Publishing House. Apart from this, there would be a regular career counseling sessions conducted at this event. Satyendra K Singh and Dr Sanchita Ghatak, the renowned career counselors and trainers would be available for consultation.
This program being held by LMRC along with Bharat Vimarsh Foundation and Pratishthaa Films & Media, witnessed huge appreciation from the passengers.
