ISRO Launches EMISAT Defence Satellite, 28 Others

SRIHARIKOTA: Indian Space Research Organisation launched (ISRO) the country’s newest satellite, EMISAT, from Sriharikota launch station on Monday.The EMISAT was released into its planned slot from the fourth stage or PS4, 17 minutes into the launch. The PSLV-C45 successfully injected EMISAT into sun-synchronous polar orbit. EMISAT and the 28 other satellites were successfully placed in the orbit, the space agency said.
