“Our present condition is not important, but always our direction is important because our direction determines our next place in future.”
This definition also tells us that it is possible to change your place in the society by rearranging of the small number of small words on the pages of your life. This change also improves our attitudes and pulls out ‘possible’ from every so-called ‘impossible.’ Whatever was unimaginable till yesterday, it is standing today in reality.
This world was like yesterday, it is the same today, and probably it will be identical in the coming tomorrow also. In this world, there will be ninety-seven percent people laughing at each other, filled with distrust, frustration, depression, and jealousy on the one side and there will be three percent people who are happy and full of talent and placed at the top of the world by turning every impossible to possible on the other side.
Whatever we are and wherever we stand today, it is because of our earned faith, our attitude, our predictions and our experience only. Only our thoughts and attitudes are responsible for our circumstances. It is not essential what our current status is, but it is always important that where we want to reach in the future. Some scholars also call it this way:
“Our present condition is not important, but always our direction is important because our direction determines our next place in future.”
Here I would like to share with you another story. I had introduced you to Kapil Ji, working as a business development officer in an insurance company at the last halt. Hey, remember Kapil Ji who was earning twenty-five thousand rupees per month and whose higher official was earning four times more salary, but both were living under economic pressure. I gave Kapil Ji the principle of ‘first payment to self’ and introduced him to the true meaning of saving and he not only understood those principles well but also put him in his life and at the end of the year, he laced up his Lace of Richness by three months long, while his higher official who was earning four times more than him, is still feeling the economic pressure.
For me, that day is a memorable day when Kapil Ji offered the desert of my choice and told me that he has not only has sixty-five thousand rupees in his bank account, but he is also earning the additional income in the form of interest. He was thrilled that day, and his enthusiasm was telling that science of money has started working for him. He was especially excited with the fact that he could wait three months without earning anything else for a better and profitable opportunity, but it is not possible for his higher official who earns even four times more than him. Today, he had known this secret very well that even if the person who earns less money but works according to a definite plan, can be more precious and richer than the person who earns more money than him but has no plan for saving.
I would like to recall Prabhat and Sameer on this occasion, who were working as the sales representatives in a pharmaceutical company, whom I had met a few years ago during a banquet held in the family of a familiar friend. These two attractive young men were talking to me in the interval before the beginning of the dinner. I had introduced them to the principle “first payment to self” and “saving is the seed of richness.” I had noticed that Prabhat did not show any particular interest in that conversation while Sameer very carefully heard me and asked too many questions to satisfy his curiosity.
Sameer met me several times later, and every time I found him more excited. One day Sameer invited me to inaugurate his own company. I was amazed and surprised a lot. Sameer told me that he adopted those principles and built his property for three years and then laid the foundations of a small company with a qualified and accomplished partner. My surprise was at the highest point when I saw my big picture beautifully famed in his office as his ‘inspiration’ at the inauguration site. When I wanted to get information about Prabhat, he told me that he is still working as a Sales Representative in the old company.
The above example also clarifies that there is very limited space on the peak. If you want to reach there, then you must first change your life vision, and only then, you can get changes in every area of your life.
Now it is a matter of your decision that to which direction, you would like to divert your journey of life. Which section of the society is affecting you – a small but energetic place of the three percent successful and unique people of the world or a dark forest full of ninety-seven percent of the general and helpless people of the world spread far and wide. There is a lot of space on the surface so there is lot of people on the surface but there is limited space on the summit, and as such, only a few people filled with their real faith are there.
I am confident that you have understood the real and true meaning of ‘Saving,’ and you are ready and committed for putting these principles in your life. I congratulate you.
Without being restless, you have a crossed this halt successfully and scribed these golden principles in your heart. I will say that you must keep your journey of life continued for making unbreakable records.
I’ll be waiting for you at the next halt – with a new theory for opening the secret of life. Will you come there to know about something which can make you ‘extra ordinary’?
