A Play in Urdu on the Great Epic, Ramayana

NEW DELHI: The great epic Ramayana as an epitome of religious and cultural importance has always attracted the attention of people all over the world. An enchanting tale, which has numerous turns and twists and ups and downs. There is a lot of lessons to learn from it in life even in this modern days.

Dr Mohammed Aleem, a renowned writer and journalist and Editor of ICN Group has very painstakingly written this play in chaste, lucid and flowing Urdu. It is going to be direct by national level award winning theatre director, Mushtaq Kak and the Producer is Atul Gangwar, who himself is a screenplay writer and journalist.

The idea is to take this play on a massive scale in all over India and abroad. In just a week or two, rehearsal will start. Other pre-production works are going on on full speed. The best creative team is behind the project to give its creative weight.

In the current scenario, such work holds special importance. People of different religious faiths and backgrounds should come together. Presentation of the Ramayana in Urdu will surely help to achieve this pious goal in a great way.

Final show of the play will be ready by the first week of August, 2019.
