NEW DELHI: True beauty and charm lie in any educational and other institutions is to provide its services to the beneficiary in a best possible and easy way. And if it comes through the use of a state-of-the-art technology, it is much better.

Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university is constantly trying hard to improve its not only academic performances by adopting the modern technologies, but overall other facilities to its strong many thousand staffs and students.

Of late, it has digitalized the data base of its Dr M.A. Ansari Health Centre, so the beneficiary could get their health related problems solved in less time and in less cumbersome way.

To achieve this goal, it has taken the help of a software company, Stetho Health Systems. The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Talat Ahmad has inaugurated the digital services on the first day of the year, 2018. It shows that how the Vice Chancellor is keen to take the university to new heights day by day.

This digitalization will prove to be very useful for its 19,000 students and 10,000 former and present employees who are dependent for their healthcare needs on Dr M.A. Ansari Health Centre.

Stetho is an advanced cloud based Electronic Health Recording System (EHR) which digitizes and centralizes the Health records, prescriptions, clinical/medical data, appointment logs, clinical information, medication histories and Health Analytics data of a clinic/hospital.

The system creates a medication history of a patient and uses the information in an actionable format for better and personalized treatment of the patient for the next visits. Health monitoring data from various compatible devices is also reflected on the doctor’s dashboard.

With the Launch of this system, Jamia Millia Islamia has become the first university in the country which has a fully digitalized healthcare system.
