Veteran Bollywood Actor-Writer Kader Khan Dies At 81

Vetran actor Kader Khan was famous for his dialogue delivery.His emotional lines brought tears to eyes and his comedy made all of us laugh. 

TORONTO: Veteran actor Kader Khan passed away at the age of 81 during the early hours on Tuesday.The actor breathed his last in a hospital in Canada where he was living with his son and daughter-in-law for the last few years.The actor’s funeral will take place on Tuesday in Canada where his family is living at present.

The 81-year-old actor had developed breathing issues and the doctors had moved him from a regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilator.He was suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a disease that causes difficulty in walking and dementia.

Kader Khan was an Afghan-born Indian Canadian film actor, screenwriter. He was born on October 22, 1937, in Kabul, Afghanisthan.He taught as a Civil Engineering professor at a college in Mumbai before stepping into the film industry.

The veteran actor Kader Khan has appeared in more than 300 films. He made his debut in 1973 film Daag, starring Rajesh Khanna.He has won ten Filmfare awards for Best Comedian Award and two Filmfare awards for Best Dialogues.

Kader Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in films like Do Aur Do Paanch, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Mr Natwarlal, Suhaag, Coolie and Shahenshah.

Kader Khan has written dialogues for about 250 films. He was known for his dramatized and strong dialogues.Kader Khan was almost always present in films made by Director David Dhawan.

He has worked with named and famed actors such as Rajesh Khanna, Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor,Govinda, Sri Devi, Jayaprada, Shakti Kapoor, Johny Lever to name a few.
